Meet Dina Griffin, Registered Dietitian and Performance Dietitian
I’m Dina, 55, an "adult onset" endurance athlete and Sports Performance Dietitian. From marathons and Ironman triathlons to ultrarunning and gravel riding, I help women fuel to train well and prevent body breakdowns. But now that I've gone through perimenopause into postmenopause, I’ve experienced the same things many of my clients struggle with: disrupted sleep, stubborn weight gain, slower recovery, and new resistance to change.
It’s one thing to coach others through it and it’s another to also live it. And I get it now, on a deeper level than ever before. I've had to adjust approaches to daily habits, fueling, recovery, and training — with compassion and intention, not punishment. It is doable!
